Who Is...Ruby-Spears Mega Man X (Old Reality)

Welcome to "Who Is",where I profile various fictional characters (mainly ones that I'm familiar with). In this next edition,I'm gonna be taking a look at Ruby-Spears X...at least the Original,Pre-Multiversal Erasure,Version.

Let's get started.

Origin

Mega Man X is a Maverick Hunter from the Year 21XX,he followed Spark Mandrill and Vile through time with a mission to terminate them before they could steal Dr.Light's Litanium Rods. Rods that are worth billions in his time,Rods that the Evil Android Sigma can use to finance His War against the Humans.

Mega Man X was created by Dr. Light for unknown reasons and was eventually sealed up for a long time within a private warehouse,likely belonging to Dr.Light himself. Many years later,he is found by Dr.Cain and would eventually join the Maverick Hunters.

And that's about it. Not much is really known about this Reality's version of X. He only appeared in 1 episode and not much was revealed about him.

Specs

Mega Man X RS is a very tall Android,likely towering in at 7' (the tallest of all Rockmen/Mega Men),. X has Green Eyes and pesumably has Brown Hair. His overall weight is unknown,though we believe he weighs more than 200lbs.

His AI Age is about 30-40,making him an Adult mentally. X's human-like brain has 30x -50x the designated RAM capacity as his siblings,meaning that he can hold A lot more data in his brain. His mind also has the ability to upgrade itself,allowing for even More RAM capacity. Though,if X wanted to,he can still self-delete stuff from his brain,like his siblings can.

And on top of that,X's mind can't be taken over. So no matter what type of reprogramming tactic the Enemy uses,it'll proove ineffective. This upgrade is courtesy of Dr.Light.

Feeling hardcore trust in X,Dr.Light decided to forgo programming in the "Moral Code" and allow the Blue Giant to create one for himself.

Mega Man X RS is powered by a Super Plasma Reactor,which gives X his incredible Dragon Ball-like strength. X RS is equiped with a Plasma Canon,which fires off mega powerful Plasma Shots.

Using his Plasma Canon Arm,X can temporarily copy an enemies powers just by touching them. Just like his brothers Mega and Proto. We only saw him use this once on-screen,but he does have this power. He can also super charge weapons of lesser robots,like the Robot Masters. He's only seen doing this once with Snake Man's weapon.

X's armor is made up of a flexable,mega tough metal called Ceratanium RS X,an improved version of Ceratanium RS,which is used in the construction of Robot Masters. As you could tell his Armor is a vastly inproved version of Mega and Proto's.

X's human-esque skin is made up of a thin,but very tough and stretchable material,much other Androids.

X's abilities are the same as Mega Man's,except 5x greater. He has High Jumping,Hyper Speed,Wall Scaling,Basic Martial Arts,and Many More. He's also extremely powerful,capable of destroying entire areas.

He easily surpasses Roll and Mega Man. One other thing X is equipped with is Dr.Light's X chip,which he developed while creating X. This chip allows machines (any kind) to get more powerful if they get repaired after breaking down or getting overused. A Technological Marvel indeed. Dr.Light was a Genius.

However,the effects of the chip don't really come into play during the episode,so it's an easy thing to just overlook.

X's strength is way past awesome,but the guy still has weaknessess. For example,X is not immune to death and destruction. He's a mortal too. Yeah,that's all I got. One thing to note is that X doesn't seem to inherit ANY of his siblings weaknesses,so that's good.

Character

Mega Man X RS is a no-nonsence warrior with a very strong sense of justice,who will do whatever it takes to defeat the bad guys...even bring down areas.

Because of this attitude,some see This version of X as completely wreckless and destructive. Despite this,X is a pretty good guy at heart. He shows this side of his personality while working with Mega Man.

Trivia

This guy is one of 2 X's that exist in this Reality. With this one being from the Timeline where Zero wasn't awakened early. The other was part of the Z-Cataclysm/Mega Shadow Timeline,a timeline where Zero WAS awakened early and Mega Man was infected with his virus. I'll talk more about That another time.

X in this Defunct Universe has never had a Human name,like his Brother. Although his Rebooted Universe counterpart does. Reboot RS!X is called Xavier by most.

An X series spinoff cartoon was planned,but scrapped due to the Main Show being canned.

Zero is not seen or even mentioned in X's lone episode. Leaving fans to wonder what happened to him?

Fans are also interested in what an RS Zero would be like?

Mega Man X RS is as powerful as any Capcom!Zero series character. He and Capcom!Omega would be equals.

X has never mentioned or even activated his Special Armors on the show. He really doesn't need them,but it would've been nice if they were mentioned.

Ruby Spears Mega Man/Mega Man RS: Chosen Above Rock.

What if Roll was chosen above Mega Man in the Rebooted RS Mega Man Universe? Things would play out much differently,that's what. It'll be the Justice-Minded Roll taking down the badguys,instead of her Goku-Like Brother.

Inspired by Yoshihiro Iwamoto's 'Rockman X5 IF' Manga,here is RS Mega Man: Chosen Above Rock. This is also the first in a long line of content celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Ruby Spears Mega Man Series.

The Early Years of Robotics,The Beginnings of Drs Light and Wily,and The Birth of Androids are more or less tbe same as it was in the RS Rebooted Timeline. In fact almost everything is tbe same except for the following.

- The most obvious one being that Roll is upgraded into a Super Fighting Robot instead of Rock.
- Thanks to her upgrades,Roll's Gadgets are much more weaponized.
- Rock takes on the secondary roll. And due to not being upgraded into a SFR,Rock is actually weaker in this Universe.
- Roll takes on Wily's 1st,2nd,3rd,8th,and 9th teams. As well as Dr.Wily himself in the 1st 5 uprisings. Rock does not. She also fights Protoman and Bass.
- Rock battles Wily's Proto RM's,Wily's 6th,7th,4th,and 5th teams,and Doc Robot.
- Rock rescues Kalinka and She develops a crush on him.
- Roll and Bass develop a rivalry,which eventually gives them respect for one another.
- Rock never fight's Wily until the 6th Uprising.
- He doesn't fight the RoboGuardians or their Leaders either. Roll does this.
- After his 1st defeat,Dr.Regal creates Mega Woman R,as a replacement for Mega Man R,after Roll destroys him. Thanks to Roll,the once chauvinistic,Dr.Regal quickly changes his position on female androids. In fact,he later builds another one.
- Roll leads the charge against the Android Supremacy League and destroys Lady Vocal.
- Roll Leads the charge against the New Generation Numbers.
- Zero becomes Roll's arch-nemesis.
- Roll conquers Lorr's BattleMania and destroys both Giga Man and Lorr herself.
- Dr.Regal created 3 final creations,with Zed being the only one to awaken in this time period. Roll destroys Zed instead of Mega.
- Dr.Light outfits both Roll and Mega Man with Prototype Zenkai Chips,instead of Just Mega. X is still equipped with the complete version.
- Quintett,the lost creation of Dr.Wily,is a male named Quint.
- Roll survives Zero's surprise attack and fights Zero later.
- Due to being weaker in this Universe,Mega Man is killed by Zero,even after his Super Android transformation. Zero leaves after the fight.
- A fully repaired/healed Roll arrives on the battlefield and sees Mega,Bass,and even Dr.Light and Auto dead. Saddened and full of fury,Roll transforms into a Super Android.
- Roll faces off against Zero and Easily Destroys Him in a nearly one-sided battle.
- Unfortunatly,the Virus within Zero get's tranfered to Roll,though it won't be apparent for a while.
- With Zero dead,Dr.Wily doesn't die from exaustion while trying to shut a crazed Zero down.
- Dr.Wily gets a chance to complete his Age Restoration Tank,something he was never able to do in the other Universe.
- Roll trains hard and eventually becomes a Super Android 2.
- Roll awakens X and he stays active for a while longer and even trains and mentors him.
- Roll faces off against the other 5 Omegas and destroys 4.
- Roll and Cinca are equal in power and skill,even when the Omega is in her Awakened Mode. Cinca escapes.

And Now for the Original Stuff.

After the fight with Cinca,Roll and X head home to rest. Meanwhile,Dr.Wily uses the Age Restoration Tank to restore his youth. He's now a man in his late-30's. Cinca informs her creator of Roll's power. Wily figures out that Zero's virus transfered itsekf into Roll after she destroyed him. Wily finds this interesting. He begins working on his army.

Back at Dt.Light's,Roll is training X hard to become a Super Android. Still holding a grudge against Wily and wanting to fight and destroy Cinca,Roll trains hard too,she also plans on raiding Skull Fortress and killing Wily herself. Deep inside,the virus is strengthening.

Dr.Wily sends waves of Robot Masters to kill humans and decimate the World,but Roll detroys them instead. Roll also has multiple encounters with Cinca,who she defeats everytime. The Virus starts to take hold as Roll becomes more ruthless and unforgiving towards evil.

Roll eventually finds Wily's Fortress,and with tbe help of X,begins an assault on it. Roll and X destroy Cinca and most of Wily's unfinished creations. Roll beats down Dr.Wily and then kills him,ignoring X's pleas.

The 2 then combine super powerful energy blasts to completely destroy Wily's Fortress. The Virus has fully taken over Roll,turning her into a remorseless,violent,vigilante.

When the 'Machine-on-Man Violence Prevention Act' passes,Roll,out of Android Pride,hunts down and kills some of the DC politicians who champion this disgusting act,she even kills the president.

Roll becomes a wanted criminal and eventually has a confrontation with X,who is disguted and heartbroken by his sisters actions. After an arguement the 2 fight. Roll transforms into her Super Android 2 form to match X.

During the battle,X grows more saddened and angry of what his sis has become. So much so he transforms into a Super Android. Super Android X manages to destroy Roll, X breaks down crying after his sis' death.

The Virus,which was once inside Roll, tries to take over X's body,but it fails. X's digital spirit keeps forcing the Virus out. So the Virus initiate it's 2nd function - Contaminate The World. The Virus turns the Androids and Robot Masters (the ones still in existence) Violent and Kills off the Humans. Thankfully,the Virus moves and works slowly,so it won't infect the whole world for a good while.

Duo,sensing the Virus from Space leaves for Earth. Duo finds X and tells him about the Evil Energy (he means the virus) and they make plans to destroy it. They watch a news report about the Virus,called a "Strange Phenomenon",corrupting remaining Robots and Androids and slowly killing humans. X promises to save the World again.

They use Dr.Light's Power Amplifier to Power Up Duo's Justice Fist (his big fist) so that he can draw in and destroy the entire Virus. As Duo sucks in the Virus,X battles the corrupt Robots and Androids.

Duo is successful in drawing in and destroying the Virus (with ultra powerful justice energy). The Robots,Humans,and Androids are detoxed and will be okay...well,the humans who survived the virus will be anyway.

Hours later,Duo says goodbye to X and tells him that he is the World's Savior now. X wishes it were true,as he tells Duo about the Anti-Android Law. Duo tells his friend not to worry and that all bad thing pass.

After a short talk,Duo leaves for Space. X is saddened that he's the only light left,but knows that with that Anti-Android Law in place,he can't live in this world. He wabts to test out Duos theory about how all bad things pass. So He deccides to seal himself back up,but makes a promise to make the world a better place and fight against evil. He wants to be the Ultimate Warrior of Justice and Peace.

X heads back to Dr.Light's secret bunker and seals himself back up. X then drifts into a long stasis.

While in stasis,X (subconcious) meets and fights against the spirit of Mega Man Shadowmthe Orignal Ruby-Spears Mega Man. Mega Shadow want's to take over X's body,so that he can destroy the Rockman/Mega Man Multiverse.

X defeats Mega Shadow and sends him retreating. X's peace of mind is restored.

With the Virus destroyed,the Wily Legacy has officially ended. Unfortunatly, the Regal Legacy hasn't. As his final 2 creations,RX (xandread) and RY (yuna),slumber. To awakenen sometime in the future.

And Worse,the Successors of the Stardroids are being born and will train to fight against Justice and Peace for the glory of their Lord,Ra Moon Jr.

One day,the paths and fates of X and these 2 forces will cross. And when they do,X will be ready for them.
