Mega Man Classic Timeline (Redo)

After the release of Mega Man 11,I've decided to redo my Classic Mega Man Series timeline.

The Mega Man Timeline can be a confusing one. So,I'm gonna try to (once again) connect the (canon) games in the Robot Timeline's Classic Era,in a less confusing manner.

I'll also be explaining how they all fit within said Timeline.

The Following Games Will Not be Counted:
- Fan Games and Crossover Titles...as they are Far from being considered Canon. No exceptions, not even Street Fighter X Mega Man.
- The Tiger Handhelds.
- All of the Asian PC Titles
- All but 1 Compilation Titles.
- All of the Mobile Titles.
- All Licenced Titles..that includes Rockman and Forte: Challenger from the Future (it contradicts things and was made for a japanese-only system and created by bandai, not capcom. I'm also aware that characters from the game was referenced in the ZX games, however they were both fictional And were easter eggs, and easter eggs are never considered canon.)

Also,No Alternate Continuities, such as Mega Man Powered Up,Ariga Rockman, and the Archie Mega Man.

Also,I'm gonna make this Spoiler Free,so if you wanna know about the events of the games, play the games for yourselves.

Now,let's get things started!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
20,000 Years Ago,the Forces of Good wage war against Evil Energy. Ra-Moon creates Sunstar and the Stardroids. Ra-Moon and his Creations land on Earth, with intentions of conquering it. They are found by an Ancient Civilization and Ra-Moon is treated like a God.

Ra-Moon grew tired of the Human's ultra-violent tendencies and decided to delay his plans. Why? Ask Capcom! Anyway,Ra-Moon seals himself away underground, along with the Temple the Humans made for him. The Stardroids do the same at Ra-Moon's Request, though they seal themselves away in a different part of the area.

An Undisclosed Number of Years later,Duo was created. His main purpose was to eliminate Evil Energy. A rogue Space Robot crashlands somewhere on Earth.

Sometime in the Modern Era,Thomas Light and Albert Wily attend Robotics University,Robotics Institute of Technology, and eventually become best friends and friendly rivals. Both men soon become the Universities greatest students.

In their Senior Year,Light and Wily both had their own ideas on how to create a new future for humans and robots. Light pursued the idea of giving robots independent thought in order to make them true partners to humans, while Wily believed robots woukd best be accepted if they exceeded humans and became heroes with his Double Gear System.

Light opposed the idea due to the extreme physical exertion the system placed on robots, which made it dangerous to implement in them. A committee was held and Light's idea was given approval over Wily's,putting a strain on their friendship.

Since that time,Wily and Light become greater rivals. Though still friends, their friendship wasn't as strong as it once was. And to put even more strain on their friendship,Light's projects were almost always praised, while Wily's were shunned.

Light Graduates from Robotics Institute of Technology with high honers. Wily grows more jealous and a bit more bitter.

For the next few years,Thomas Light (now roboticist,Dr.Light) and Albert Wily (now roboticist,Dr.Wily) partner up on various Robotics projects for the general public. They even start a small Robotics Lab,likely funded by the University. The 2 argued at times, but they often put their differences aside for the common good.

After a heated arguement,Dr.Wily and Dr. Light decided that it was for the best to go their seperate ways. After closing down their little lab, they split up.

Soon after,Light establishes a Robotics Lab of his own, with Wily doing the same. However, his works are constantly ignored in favor of Thomas Light's. Many years later,Dr.Light wins the Nobel Prize in physics. Upon hearing about this,Dr.Wily snaps and goes into hiding, planning global conquest.

In 200X,Dr.Light creates Blues aka Proto Man,an Android Prototype. Just months after his activation,Blues leaves Light due to a disagreement about the android's faulty core. 1 Year later,Dr.Light creates 2 more Androids Rock,a lab assistant and Roll,a housekeeper. He then gets to work on 6 Industrial Robots, called Robot Masters.

Dr.Wily finds out about these bots and plans on using them for Global Conquest. After reprograming the 6 Robot Masters,Wily sends them out to cause chaos and has them occupy 6 Major Areas. Rock, having a strong sense of Justice, volunteers to stop Dr.Wily's scheme. Dr.Light reluctanly agrees and converts Rock into a Fighting Robot known as Mega Man.

The events of Mega Man 1 take place. Explanation: It's the first major event of the timeline.

At the end of Mega Man 1,Mega Man let's Dr.Wily go out of pity. Blues ends up in the middle of nowhere and is dying due to a defect in his core. He is soon found and taken in by Dr.Wily. Dr.Wily fixes Blues' core by replacing it with a slightly more powerful nuclear one.

Unbeknownst to Blues, however, the nuclear core Wily gave him is also faulty.

Feeling that he ows Wily a debt,Blues decides to help Dr.Wily with his various projects. Dr.Wily outfits Blues with new armor and a plasma buster. He also gives the android a new name: Break Man. After giving Break Man a mask to hide his Identity from Dr.Light,Dr.Wily begins work on a repeat of his previous plan, this time using his own Robot Masters. E-Cans are invented, but are in limited supply.

2-4 months later, the events of Mega Man 2 take place. Explanation: It's the follow up to Mega Man 1. E-Cans are introduced.

Mega Man sends Dr.Wily to prison after the 2nd robot rebellion, this time around. However weeks later,Wily escapes prison and plans to cause major havoc. He raids the newly created Robot Museum and, with the help of his newest robot Enker, steals copies of 8 previously defeated Robot Masters.

The events of Mega Man: Dr.Wily's Revenge take place. Explanation: The use of only the Mega Man 1 and 2 Robot Masters, plus the lack of Sliding, easily puts this game in-between Mega Man 2 and 3.

After stopping Dr.Wily once again (and letting him escape),Mega Man returns home to find out that Dr.Light is planning to create a special Peace Keeping Robot, called Gamma. Days later,Rush is created as a pet companion for Mega Man. Mega Man also gains the ability to slide. Meanwhile, during a mining expodtion,Dr.Wily unearths that rogue Space Robot, who he remodels into Shadow Man. E-Can supplies increase.

Dr.Wily appears at Dr.Light's Lab,claiming to be sane again. He volunteers to help Dr.Light with Gamma. Dr.Light agrees and the 2 Friends/Rivals are reunited. The 2 co-create 7 Robot Masters, who are sent to mine for special Energy Crystals for Gamma. Dr.Wily sends Shadow Man to mine as well.

The Events of Mega Man 3 take place. Explanation: Mega Man now has the Slide. Rush and Protoman are introduced. And Roll is named.

After the Events of Mega Man 3,Mega Man reminisces about the previous 3 rebellions. Meanwhile,Dr.Wily steals an experimental Time Machine (the time skimmer) from the Chrono Institute to travel into the far future, where he recruits 3 Reploids to help him destroy Mega Man. Dr.Wily heads back to the present with his 3 new recruits.

The events of Mega Man: The Wily Wars - Wily Tower take place. Explanation: Capcom explained that in Wily Wars, Dr.Wily, tired of having his plans foiled every time by Mega Man,goes back in time to change things. He restores his defeated robots and starts causing chaos. In order to stop Dr. Wily, Mega Man was sent into the past in a time machine hastily crafted by Dr. Light to relive his earlier adventures. I think that story is both convoluted and stupid. Instead of Wily going back in time,I just count the first 3 games in Wily Wars as just Mega Man recalling his previous battles. Much less confusing that way. And it also made sense for the events of Wily Tower to take place after Mega Man 3..for obvious reasons.

As for My "Dr.Wily going forward in time" theory, C'mon,it's obvious Why I made this assessment. Just look at the Genesis Unit. They look as if they'd fit right in with the other Animaloid Reploids during the Early Mega Man X Era. So,I theorized that Wily wanted to get ahold of some Future Bots to destroy Mega Man. However,my theory does have a small hole in it....Mega Man can Destroy these guys, when by some rights,he shouldn't be able too, since Reploids are supposed to be more advanced. But the argument can be made, that Maybe Reploids aren't as Powerful as the fandom might think Or that the Genesis Unit were just weak. Ok,this is getting too long. Explanation Over!

After that debacle,Mega returns the Time Skimmer to the Chronos Institute. A few weeks later,Wily steals the Chrono Institute's Time Skimmer again, this time with hopes of conquering the past, before the creation of Mega Man. The Time Skimmer malfunctions and sends Dr.Wily into the Future instead.

Dr.Wily returns to the Present with a modified Mega Man and, after repairing 8 of his older Robot Masters, starts his attack.

The events of Mega Man II GB take place. Explanation: Mega Man 2 and 3 Robot Masters are used and Mega Man has his Slide, but no Charged Shot or Eddie. So,it makes sense that this battle takes place between Mega Man 3 and Mega Man 4.

After bringing Quint back to the Future and returning to the Present,Mega Man destroys the Time Skimmer. Wily retreats to his 4th Fortress and begins to scheme.

Wily soon decides to test his cruelty. He kidnaps Kalinka Cossack, daughter of Russian Robotisist Dr. Sergei Cossack, and forces him into doing his bidding. Meanwhile,Dr.Light creates Eddie, the robotic suitcase.

The events of Mega Man 4 take place. Explanation: Eddie and the Cossacks are introduced. The Charged Shot is also introduced. Protoman returns.

After the events of Mega Man 4,Dr.Cossack gets his sentence reduced, thanks to Mega Man. Meanwhile,Dr.Wily takes over the Worlds Off-Shore Oil Platforms with help from 8 ressurected Robkt Masters and his newest creation,Punk.

The events of Mega Man III GB take place. Expanation: Mega can both Slide and use the Charged Shot. Plus, the use of both Mega Man 3 and 4 Robot Masters.

After foiling Wily once again,Mega Man and his family decide to watch the All-Star Soccer Tournament.

The events of Mega Man Soccer take place. Explanation: I have little to no idea. I just had to put this somewhere and After Mega Man 3GB was the most logical choice.

Sometime after the Soccer Incident,Mega Man hosts RockBoard,a Giant Man-Sized,Open Invitational Board Game, with Cash Prizes. Dr.Light,Roll,Dr.Cossack,Kalinka,and Dr.Wily participate.

The events of RockBoard take place. Expanation: The Cossacks return,as does Eddie. Plus,Dr.Wily's seldom seen pet bird,Reggae, debuts.

After losing to Dr.Light at RockBoard,an angry and frustrated Dr.Wily starts his next plan - Revenge on Protoman for betraying him. Meanwhile,Dr.Cossack and Dr.Light start working together on a secret project.

The events of Mega Man 5 take place. Explanation: Dr.Cossack makes his 3rd appearance. Protoman is the center of the plot. Eddie's back. The Charged Shot is upgraded. Mega has the Slide. And Beat debuts.

After clearing his brother's name,Mega Man takes some time off. Wily repairs 8 of his previously defeated Robot Masters and creates a new right hand,Ballade. A week later,Mega Man and family visit the annual Robotics Expo.

The events of Mega Man IV GB take place. Explanation: Beat is included,as is the upgraded Charged Shot. Plus,4 of the Mega Man 5 Robot Masters are used. The Energy Balancer is introduced,as is the Item Shop.

A year later,an Electromagnetic disturbance start ups in the Landfront Ruins. Meanwhile,Dr.Wily convinces Mega Man and Dr.Light that he's changed for real this time. The Light's,being totally gullible, buy into Wily's crap and allow him to work with Dr. Light again.

Dr.Wily goes to investigate the Electromagnetic disturbance at the Landfort Ruins. Meanwhile,Dr.Light has rebuilt his original 6 Robot Masters.

The events of Super Adventure Rockman soon take place. Explanation: Beat makes an appearance,as do enemies from the first 5 rebellions. Protoman is there as well. Plus, some sources put this game in between Mega Man 5 and Mega Man V GB,so I'm going with that placement.

After a humiliating defeat,Dr. Wily returns to the Landfront Ruins to find more ancient robots. He finds Sunstar and the Stardroids. Sometime later,The Original 6 Light Bots are shut down due to their expiration dates and put into the Robot Museum.

The events of Mega Man V GB take place. Explanation: Protoman appears. The debut of Tango, who is never seen again after this.

Sometime after the events of V,Mega Man's Mega Arm malfunctions and is replaced with a stronger Mega Buster.

To make some extra money,Dr.Wily donates some of his old Robots to the Robot Museum (they're past their expiration date, anyway). Soon after,Dr.Wily gets to work on Bass and Treble. Mysterious Billionaire,Mr.X sponsors The World Robot Tournament, which Mega Man attends. Dr.Wily secretly kills Mr.X and takes his place.

The events of Mega Man 6 take place. Explanation: The debut of the Rush armors, which Dr.Light will combined into 1 suit in Mega Man 7. Plus,Dr.Wily is jailed at the end.

6 Months Later, the events of Mega Man 7 take place. Explanation: Dr.Wily is broken out of Prison, months after he was arrested back in Mega Man 6. And the Rush Armors from 6 are combined into a single Super Adapter. Bass,Treble, and Auto are introduced. Bass' Treble Boost is also introduced.

Immediately after the 7th Rebellion,Mega Man finds Protoman and gives him back his Shield. The Armor Transformations start to cause Rush pain,so the Super Adapter isn't used again. Dr.Wily raids the Robot Museum again and plots a World Wide Chaos Spree.

The events of Mega Man: The Power Battles take place. Explanation: Mainly use of the Mega Man 7 Robot Masters. And Bass makes his return...as well as playable debut.

Weeks after that debacle,Mega Man takes swimming lessons. Due to an Energy crisis,Dr.Light and Auto are unable to create E-Cans. Dr.Wily studies the special plans that Bass stole from Dr.Light back in Mega Man 7. Weeks later, out in space,2 Beings (one good, one evil) battle throughout our Solar System.

The events of Mega Man 8 take place. Explanation: Duo debuts. Cut Man and Wood Man are fought again. Roll debuts a new look and Bass still has his Treble Boost from 7. I added an Energy crisis to explain the game's lack of E-Cans.

Dr.Wily preserves some of the Evil Energy and plans on using it for future rebellions. He then begins working on the blueprints for his Ultimate Creation. Duo returns to Earth, searching for more Evil Energy. And Dr.Wily decides to do 3 evil schemes at once.

The events of Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters take place. Explanation: Duo returns. And his ending states that the events of this game take place after 8. The lack of Mega Man 8 Robot Masters can be easily be explained, they simply weren't fully repaired yet.

Weeks later, the Battle and Chase Cart Race is held; The Heroes and Villains enter it.

The events of Mega Man: Battle and Chase take place. Explanation: Duo makes his 3rd appearance. Bass starts rebelling against Dr.Wily.

Mega Man wins Battle and Chase,Duo returns to space, and Wily completes Tengu Man and Astro Man's repairs. Wily soon creates 6 New Robot Masters and King. King turns disloyal.

The events of Mega Man and Bass take place. Explanation: Tengu Man and Astro Man return...as do the enemies from Mega Man 8. Bass uses his Treble Boost for the 3rd time. King's debut. The Energy crisis continues, thus explaining the lack of E-Cans in this game.

King turns Good, but is never seen again. Plus, the Energy crisis ends.

Dr.Light creates 8 New Robot Masters. The chip that allows Mega Man to Slide burns out. Mega Man decides not to have it replaced just yet. Near the same time,Mega Man's Buster brakes and is forced to use an older model, for now.

Meanwhile,Dr.Wily cooks up his latest scheme. Bass, sick of Wily's schemes, excuses himself from this mission and goes on vacation instead. And That's how I explain the lack of Mega Man's Slide,Charged Shot, and Rival in Mega Man 9. Yeah, yeah,I know Crapcom Japan stated that Bass was undergoing updates or something during the events of 9. However,my explination is Way better and makes way more sense,as you will see in a bit.

The events of Mega Man 9 take place. Explanation: Bass exists,Auto exists, and Mega Man and Bass is referenced in the ending.

Soon after the events of 9,Mega Man gets a New Buster, and per his request, lacks a Charge-Up feature. He also gets a new Sliding Chip, but the new chip malfunctions and is removed immediately. Meanwhile,Dr.Wily creates Roboenza using the Evil Energy he aquired during the events of Mega Man 8.

As punishment for his rebellious attitude towards him,Dr.Wily removes one of Bass' Abilities, the Double Jump. As an act of Revenge,Bass plans to stop Wily's scheme himself. And That's how I explain the lack of Mega Man's Slide and Charge Shot, and Bass' lack of a Double Jump in Mega Man 10.

The events of Mega Man 10 take place. Explanation: Takes place sometime after Mega Man 9,according to the Word of God. Bass uses the Treble Boost once again. And Reggae returns.

After the Roboenza outbreak is dealt with,Mega Man faces off against great evils who may or may not be connected to Dr.Wily. Speaking of Wily, just a short while after those incidents, the mad scientist has a reoccurring dream about his Robotics University days. From these,he gets the idea to revive his Double Gear System.

Meanwhile,to make a little extra money,Dr.Light opens up a Robot Repair center in his lab. Mega Man is given both a new Slide Chip and a New Buster. With this  ew Buater,Mega Man can now charge-up his shots again.

Just a short time later,The events of Mega Man 11 take place. Explaination: 3 Words: Double. Gear. System. it was first introduced in this game. Plus, due to this system,Mega Man takes on some of the physical characteristics of Robot Masters he gets Weapons from.

After escaping from Mega Man,yet again,Dr.Wily goes into hiding, planning to continue his evil ways. He also begins construction of his Ultimate Creation.

Meanwhile,Dr.Light begins construction of his own Ultimate Creation.

Mega Man continues his battle against Wily.

After a final 10 year struggle,Dr.Wily Finally surrenders and is jailed..this time forever. And Bass decides to abandon Wily. With peace restored,Mega Man is converted back into Rock again.

Dr.Light, feeling partially responsible for Wily's dementia, posts bail for his old and former friend.

Just a year later,Dr.Wily from the Present (past?) comes to the future and runs into his Future self. He learns that Mega Man had been converted back into Rock and gets a nasty idea.

Dr.Wily and his Future self team up to capture Rock and, using modern tech, convert him back into a fighting robot. Because Present!Wily wanted to avoid a Time Paradox, instead of turning Rock back into Mega Man,he turns him into Quint instead.

After both Dr.Wily's fix the Time Skimmer, both Present!Wily and Quint return to the Present, where the events of Mega Man II GB will take place.

Quint returns to the Future and Future!Dr.Light turns him back into Mega Man,due to Dr.Wily continuing his wicked ways (not to mention the other baddies, mega must contend with).

Mega Man continues to fight for everlasting peace. Protoman helps his brother when needed. Bass still opposes Wily from time to time. His mission to destroy Mega Man and become the strongest Robot continues. And Roll tries her hand at fighting evil.

Protoman eventually dies due to his faulty core. Years later,Mega Man,Bass, and Roll all die of "old age".

In early-21XX(very early),Dr.Wily completes Zero, his Ultimate Creation. Upon activation,Zero goes crazy and starts destroying everything. Zero is eventually stopped thanks to a sharp pain in his head that shuts him down. Dr.Wily seals Zero up in a capsule, with plans on fixing him later. Dr.Wily grabs a nap and then dies in his sleep.

Just a single year later,Dr.Light completes His Ultimate Creation,Mega Man X. Concerned about X's potential as a threat,Dr.Light seals him up and begins a 30-year "test" of his reliability.

After delivering a message to the people of the future,Dr.Light retires. He dies a year later.

End!

And there you have it,the Mega Man Classic era. If popular enough,I may do one for the X-Series.

Happy 30th Anniversary,Mega Man! Here's to 30 More!

Who Is...Ruby-Spears Protoman (Old Reality)

Disclaimer: The following is inspired by Twitch - Reploid REVO's "Who Exactly Is.." Series. If you haven't checked out his vids,do so. Here's his channel here at: https://m.youtube.com/c/reploidrevo

Welcome to my newest series "Who Is",where I profile various fictional characters (mainly ones that I'm familiar with). In this next edition,I'm gonna be taking a look at Ruby-Spears Proto Man...at least the Original,Pre-Multiversal Erasure,Version.

Let's get started.

Origin

Protoman's Origins are unknown as they're are 2 conflicting stories of his beginnings. One claims that He was built from scratch by Dr.Wily, while the other claims that he was originally the Little Robot boy that Dr.Light created that went crazy due to Wily's faulty programming. And that Dr.Wily eventually stole the robot and remodeled it into Protoman RS (of course, that likely happened off-screen).

Reguardless,Protoman was the worlds first Android, thus why he's called Protoman.

In this outdated continuity (as well as his early days in the new continuity) Protoman works with Dr.Wily as his righthand. Where ever Dr.Wily goes,Protoman is usually right by his side.

The first act that Proto does with Wily,(the one that we Actually see,at least),is helping him break into Dr.Light's lab to steal his 1st 3 Robot Masters (cutman, gutsman, and iceman). He also helps Wily kidnap Rock and Roll as well.

Dr.Wily takes Rock and Roll to his Fortress, with intent on reprogramming and retooling them. Protoman reveals to Rock that they are Brothers, built from the same plans. Of course, that would also mean that,Roll is also his sibling, but he doesn't mention it for some reason.

The siblings are able to escape by tricking Dr.Wily. Soon after,Wily and Protoman capture and reprogram Dr,Light's next 3 Robot Masters(bombman, fireman, and elecman),which were out on a test run and were planned to be fully showcased at the Robotics Expo (the one seen in Electric Nightmare). Now this scenario is just speculation on my part, though it IS likely that Dr.Light created the other 3 MM1 Robot Masters as well.

A week later,Protoman helps Dr.Wily with his assault on Kennedy International Airport.

Protoman and Mega Man get into fights whenever either Wily causes trouble.
------------------------
Specs

Protoman RS is 5'10" (as tall as mega man), Presumably has Brown Hair, and Presumably Brown Eyes. His overall weight is unknown, though we believe he weighs more than 200lbs.

His AI Age is about 25-30,though he does kinda come off as immature. Even though his brain is human-like,it can't hold more data than it's designated RAM capacity, similar to a PC's hardrive. In other words,if Proto wanted to learn more sweet stuff, but his RAM is full,he'd either have to self-delete some data (ie.forget what he learned) OR get Dr.Wily to increase his RAM Capacity.

Yes,like with his little brother,Protoman RS can self-program his brain and delete data.

Like with Dr.Light,Dr.Wily considered the Asmov Laws to be outdated,so he replaced them with a much simpler "Code",which tells Protoman that hurting or killing Dr.Wily,and/or working against him,is wrong. This code prevents Protoman from turning on Wily.

Should Protoman willingly go against this Code,it will cause him extreme pain, before completely destroying him.

This was a fail safe Dr.Wily wrote in the code, just in case, one day,Proto decided to go rogue. However, due to being a prototype, coupled with Dr.Wily's mediocre programming skills, the Code may be just weak enough for Protoman to override.

Protoman RS is powered by a Plasma Reactor, which gives Proto his strength. Protoman is equiped with a Plasma Canon, which fires off powerful Blue Plasma Shots. Using his Plasma Canon Arm,Protoman can temporarily copy an enemies powers just by touching them. We only saw him use this once on-screen,but he does have this power.

Proto's armor is made up of a flexable, ultra tough metal called Ceratanium RS,an improved version of Ceratanium, which is used in the construction of Robot Masters. In otherwords, his Armor is just like Mega Man's,only red and grey.

Proto's human-esque skin is made up of a thin, but very tough and stretchable material.

Protoman's abilities are the same as Mega Man's. He has High Jumping,Hyper Speed,Wall Scaling,Basic Martial Arts, and Many More. Though,as a prototype,he isn'tvas fast kr as powerful as Mega, but he makes up for that in craftyness.

Protoman's greatest strength is his self-determination and love for life, which keeps him going. Protoman also share's Mega Man's 2 weakness'. He can control how much plasma he fires, the stronger the blast the more energy he uses. He also can't handle multiple missions without re-energizing via Energy Can.

However,it's worse for Protoman, him being a prototype and all.
------------------------
Character

Protoman is a brash, arrogant punk who loves to live in the fastlane. Protoman just loves to have fun and,in typical punk-like fasion,he considers causing mayhem and commiting crimes to be fun.

He also loves to fight and eagerly battles his Brother every chance he gets. If fact,Protoman makes it his duty to be the Only one who defeats his Brother. Why? That's never explained.

While weaker than his brother,Proto's craftyness more than makes up for it. He's one clever SOB. He's also pretty damn snarky, which Dr.Wily despises about him.

Despite being a Bad Guy,Protoman does have his Good qualities. For one,he loves life. He never worries about too much and just lives in the moment, though some see this attitude as wreckless and careless.

Protoman also has a soft spot for his Brother,Mega Man,who he wants as a partner and, just maybe,as a real brother. So he tries to recruit him into Wily's army every chance he gets.

Also,Despite being a bad guy,Protoman hasn't actually killed anyone (at least as far as we know)

Due to his "Code",Protoman is incapable of betraying Dr.Wily, even if he wanted to,since betrayl would mean death for him and our Red friend isn't ready to die just yet. Besides Proto would wanna die in some spectacular way, anyway. Dying just because of his "Code" would seem way too cheap for him.
------------------------
Trivia

The reason why Protoman was made a bad guy in the RS Show was because The directors and writers never finished a single Mega Man game that was provided to them. In fact, the farthest they got in any of the games was Proto Fortress Stage 3 in Mega Man 5,due to the inclusion of Dark Sentinel 2 as Dark Man. These guys were unaware of Protoman's true alligences and only saw him as a bad guy.

As stated earlier,Protoman's Origins have 2 conflicting stories. One claims that He was built from scratch by Dr.Wily, while the other claims that he was originally the Little Robot boy that Dr.Light created that went crazy due to Wily's faulty programming. And that Dr.Wily eventually stole the robot and remodeled it into Protoman RS,which happened off-screen.

If the former is true, then Protoman is in fact the first Android Creation of Dr.Wily and that Dr.Wily was the very first person to create an android - well,if you don't consider the boy robot that Dr.Light built to actually Be an android. And thus,is only Mega Man and Roll's Half-Brother - Built via the same schematics, but by different people.

If the latter is true, however, then Wily just remodeled a robot created by Dr.Light, technically making Protoman a Light Bot and thus more realated to Roll and Mega Man - though technically not as a Full-Brother.

Another interesting note about this Protoman is the fact that he lacks the characters signature Shield. Why Ruby-Spears decided to nix the Shield is beyond me.

Well, that's all she wrote. Hope you learned something new about this version of Protoman. Expect a bio of Mega X in the future Seeing how I'm not much for closing words,I'll just end things here.

Until Next Time,Stay Gold.

Who Is...Ruby-Spears Roll (Old Reality)

Disclaimer: The following is inspired by Twitch - Reploid REVO's "Who Exactly Is.." Series. If you haven't checked out his vids,do so. Here's his channel here at: https://m.youtube.com/c/reploidrevo

Welcome to my newest series "Who Is",where I profile various fictional characters (mainly ones that I'm familiar with). In this next edition,I'm gonna be taking a look at my all-time favorite character in the Mega Man Multiverse: Ruby-Spears Roll. And like with Mega Man,I'll be looking at the Pre-Erasure,Old Reality Version.

Let's get started.

Origin

In the year 2094,Famed Roboticist,Dr.Thomas X.Light creates Rock,an Android with human-like features, thoughts, and emotions. He then creates Roll, a short time later. Roll's main purpose was to handle household work...and to be the daughter that he never had. Like Rock,Roll is also an Android with human-like features, thoughts and emotions.

Rock and Roll are eventually shown Dr.Light's 3 Robot Masters (cutman, gutsman, and iceman). Dr.Albert W.Wily, former assistant of Dr.Light, breaks into Light's Lab to steal the Robot Masters. And with the aid of his #1 Android Warrior,Proto Man,he succeeds in not only reprogramming the 3 Robot Masters, but also capturing Rock and Roll.

Dr.Wily takes Rock and Roll to his Fortress, with intent on reprogramming and retooling them. But,the siblings are able to escape by tricking Dr.Wily. Back at home,Dr.Light is happy to see that his children are okay, but fears that Dr.Wily may return one day,so he decides to transform Rock into a Great Robot Warrior.

While Dr.Light is converting Rock into Mega Man,Roll upgraded her Utility Arm into a literal "Swiss Army Knife" of weaponized household gadgets.

Soon,Roll aids Mega Man in his battle against Dr.Wily and his evil bots. Despite rejecting her help at first,Mega Man eventually excepted Roll as his partner. The 2 have been an unstoppable duo ever since.
------------------------
Specs

Roll RS is 5'8",has Blonde Hair, and Cyan Eyes. Her overal weight is unknown, though we believe she weighs more than a human woman of her shape and size.

Her AI Age is about 20-25,like her brother. Also like her brother, her brain is human-like and can't hold more data than it's designated RAM capacity. So if Roll wanted to learn more stuff, but her RAM is full, she'd either have to self-delete some data (ie.forget what she learned) OR get Dr.Light to increase his RAM Capacity.

However,Roll's brain is slightly more advanced than Mega Man's and can hold more data, due to her being created after Dr.Light improved the design of his Advanced Android blueprints. She is Younger than Mega, afterall.

Remember when I talked about Dr. Light considering the Asmov Laws to be outdated and that he replaced them with a much simpler "Moral Code"that tells the Android that hurting humans and letting innocent lives get hurt is wrong?

Well,Dr.Light gave Roll the same "Moral Code". Except the code itself has been updated, should Roll disobey the code, she will shut down on the spot, without experiencing pain.

Roll RS is powered by a powerful Plasma Reactor, which gives Roll her strength. One note about this Reactor,is that it's more powerful and more stable than Mega Man's. Again,Dr.Light improved the technology.

Roll is equiped with a Utility Arm full of weaponized household gadgets. She has a total of 30 gadgets within it. Yes,I said 30 Weaponized Gadgets in that 1 Utility Arm. Technology of the late 21st Century is amazing, isn't it?

Gadgets Her Utility Arm include: A Highpowered Vaccume,a Circular Saw,A Highpowered Blowdryer,An Axe,A Ceratanium Spatula that Doubles As A Club,A Plasma Launching Toaster, and Many More.

Despite being faster and more powerful than Mega,Roll doesn't wear armor (except for her boots),which is why so many see her as being weak. Hey,she's as strong as Capcom!Zero (x series version), So Shut Up!

Anyway,Roll's yellow and red jumpsuit is made up of a special tough material,it's so tough that it can't be ripped by normal means. Her Boots are made up of the same flexable, ultra tough metal that Mega Man's armor is made of. Yup,Ceratanium RS. Her Utility Arm is made up of Ceratanium RS as well.

Roll's human-esque skin is made up of a thin, but very tough and stretchable material. Again, much like her brother's.

Roll has a whole host of abilities, these include: High Jumping,Hyper Speed,Wall Scaling,Advanced Martial Arts, and Advanced Cooking and Cleaning Skills.

Like Mega Man,Roll also posesses strong self-determination,which keeps her in the fight.

As stated in the Previous "Who Is..",Mega Man has 2 weaknesses: 1 - The stronger his buster blast is,the more energy he uses. and 2 - He can't handle multiple missions without re-energizing via Energy Can.

Roll doesn't have these weaknesses. Her greatest weakness is her headstrongness. I'll talk more about that in a bit.
------------------------
Character

Roll is a headstrong hero, who loves jumping into action. Sadly, her headstrongness is also her weakness,as she often times rushes into battle without thinking. She also has small "Blonde" bouts, where she comes off as being a bit of an airhead. Still,Roll is brave and selfless and would sacrifice most for the people she loves.

Roll loves being violent with Robot Masters and unlike Mega Man,shows absolutly no restraint against her Brother,Proto Man,who Roll believes is an arrogant jerk that needs to have his big ego beaten out of him.

Like with Mega Man,Roll also has a humorous side to her, though she doesn't display it as often as her Brother. Roll also enjoys fighting, training hard and learning new fighting techniques. Her hobbies outside of battle are Video Games,Rock Music,Anime, and Reading,

Partialy due to her "Moral Code",Roll would Never kill a human, even if they deserve it. This includes Dr.Wily.

Roll is also super smart, being able to upgrade and repair machinery. Examples include: upgrading her Utility Arm to help her fight and fixing up Rush in the episode "Brain Bot".
------------------------
Trivia

- Kenji Infanue’s MML3 concept design of Lilly bore some resemblance to this version of Roll.

- Inafune's concept of RS Roll was a pre-teen girl in armor...with an egg beater buster..

- Roll RS resembles Samus Aran from Metroid.

- She has 2 Voice actresses Robyn Ross and Kathaleen Barr.

- Roll has/had a fan game called ‘Roll Boss Rush’ (for the PC. sadly, this project seems scrapped)

- The Roll from the Brazilian Comic 'Novas Aventuras de Megaman’ is loosely based on this one.

- Roll has defeated the following Robot Masters in battle: Cut Man (more than once),Bright Man,Elec Man (with rush’s help),Fire Man,Top Man,Hard Man and Snake Man (when megaman was in his body).

- Even though,it's not shown in the series,it's likely Roll can remove her boots.

Well, that's all she wrote. Hope you learned something new about this version of Roll. Expect more in the future. Seeing how I'm not much for closing words,I'll just end things here.

Until Next Time,Stay Gold.

Who Is...Ruby-Spears Mega Man (Old Reality)

Disclaimer: The following is inspired by Twitch - Reploid REVO's "Who Exactly Is.." Series. If you haven't checked out his vids,do so. Here's his channel here at: https://m.youtube.com/c/reploidrevo

Welcome to my newest series "Who Is",where I profile various fictional characters (mainly ones that I'm familiar with). In this first edition,I'm gonna be taming a look at Ruby-Soears Mega Man...at least the Original,Pre-Multiversal Erasure,Version.

Let's get started.

Origin

In the year 2094,Famed Roboticist,Dr.Thomas X.Light creates Rock,an Android with human-like features, thoughts, and emotions. Dr.Light created Rock for the purpose of being a lab assistant...and the Son that he never got to have.

Rock is soon introduced to his sister,Roll and is eventually shown Dr.Light's 3 Robot Masters (cutman, gutsman, and iceman). But peace was about to end.

Proto Man reveals to Rock that they are Brothers, built from the same plans.

The siblings are able to escape by tricking Dr.Wily. Back at home,Dr.Light is happy to see that his children are okay, but fears that Dr.Wily may return one day,so he decides to transform Rock into a Great Robot Warrior. Rock likes the idea and goes through with it.

Soon Rock becomes the Super Fighting Robot,Mega Man! And as Mega Man,Rock has foiled Dr.Wily's various schemes time and time again.
------------------------
Specs

Mega Man RS is 5'10",has Brown Hair, and Blue Eyes. His overal weight is unknown, though we believe he weighs more than 200lbs.

His AI Age is about 20-25. Even though his brain is human-like,it can't hold more data than it's designated RAM capacity, similar to a PC's hardrive. In other words,if Mega Man wanted to learn more sweet stuff, but his RAM is full,he'd either have to self-delete some data (ie.forget what he learned) OR get Dr.Light to increase his RAM Capacity.

Yes,It is believed that Mega Man RS can self-program his brain and delete data. However, there is one piece of data that can Never be erased by the Blue Wonder himself.

Y'see,Dr. Light considered the Asmov Laws to be outdated,so he replaced them with a much simpler "Moral Code",which tells Mega Man that hurting humans and letting innocent lives get hurt is wrong. This code prevents Mega Man from hurting and even killing humans. Should Mega Man willingly go against this Code,it will cause Mega Man to short out and experience sharp pains throught his body before shutting down.

This was a failsafe Dr.Light wrote in the code, just in case Mega Man,accidental or no,harmed or killed human life. Roll has the same "Moral Code",Proto Man,however, doesnt. I'll talk more about them at a later date.

Mega Man RS is powered by a powerful Plasma Reactor, which gives Mega Man his strength. Mega Man is equiped with a Plasma Canon, which fires off powerful Plasma Shots. Using his Plasma Canon Arm,Mega Man can temporarily copy an enemies powers just by touching them. In fact,Mega Man can use multiple powers at once.

Mega Man's armor is made up of a flexable, ultra tough metal called Ceratanium RS,an improved version of Ceratanium, which is used in the construction of Robot Masters.

Mega Man's human-esque skin is made up of a thin, but very tough and stretchable material.

Mega Man has a whole host of abilities, these include: High Jumping,Hyper Speed,Wall Scaling,Basic Martial Arts, and Many More.

Mega Man's greatest strength is his self-determination,which keeps him going when times are low. Mega Man also has 2 weakness'. Mega Man can control how much plasna he fires, the stronger the blast the more energy he uses. He Also can't handle multiple missions without re-energizing via Energy Can.

This is a weakness shared by Proto Man as well, though Dr.Light corrected this problem while creating Roll, who I'll talk about another time.
------------------------
Character

Mega Man is a heroic type, who sometimes does good for the sake of being good. That's not to say he's a perfect angel, though. He's violent toward Wily's bots and is kind of a risk taker. He'll get angry when his friends and family are threatened and will slaughter any Robots who threaten the lives of innocent people.

Despite being violent with Robot Masters,Mega Man shows restraint against his Brother,Proto Man,who Mega believes has good qualities and Can be reformed.

As stated earlier,Mega Man loves his family very much and would risk his life for them. Mega Man also has a humorous side to him and will desplay it often. Mega Man also seems to enjoy fighting, always having fun during battle.

Partialy due to his "Moral Code",Mega Man would Never kill a human, even if they deserve it. This includes Dr.Wily.

Mega Man is also smart, though he sometimes confuses Ceratanium with Titanium.
------------------------
Trivia

Initially, the Series was to have an art style just like Capcom's official art. There are a few reasons for the drastic change in art style:

Reason 1 - The Anime style wasn't that popular in America and we were used to a more American look to our cartoon shows. This was before the Anime Boom in 1997.

Reason 2 - In America,The 'Kid Hero' was looked down upon,so Mega Man,Roll, and Proto Man were aged up. This attitude later changed in the early 2000's.

And Reason 3 - Muscular Heroes and Villains were the Thing in 90's America.

Capcom and Marvel Comics planned to create a comic adaption of the show, but it never came to be. Again, thanks to the show itself being canned.

Despite it being an adaption of the Classic Series,Ruby-Spears Mega Man is so loose, that it can be considered it's own Mega Man Series.

Mega Man shares a Voice Actor with Goku. Ian Corlette, the 1st voice of Goku in english is also the voice of Mega Man. Also most of the music for the show was used for Ocean's Dub of Dragon Ball Z.

Despite being refered to as Robots,Mega Man,Roll,Proto Man,and Brain Bot are,in fact,Androids.

Mega Man's Buster works differently than his Capcomverse Counterpart's. Instead of charging up his buster he can fire it off in various levels of power, from paper thin beams to super powerful blasts. Mega Man can also rapid fire.

Even though,it's not shown in the series,it's likely Mega Man can remove his armor.

Well, that's all she wrote. Hope you learned something new about this version of The Blue Bomber. Expect bios of Roll and Proto Man in the future. Seeing how I'm not much for closing words,I'll just end things here.

Until Next Time,Stay Gold.

Rockman and Forte: Challenger from the Future Theory

Remember my Organizing of the Mega Man Classic Series Era? (found here: https://gigafiction.blogspot.com/2017/08/organizing-classic-mega-man-era.html). Well,I think I found another place for 'Rockman and Forte: Challenger From The Future' (that terrible wonderswan game).

Get This, there's a decent chance that Rockman Shadow's (the villian of the game, who came from the future) era may have taken place.....Between the Original and X Series!

mind blown!

Upon his awakening and destruction of the world during his time period,Mega Man is nowhere to be found, neither is Bass. That's the main reason why he went back in time in the first place,to fight Mega Man and Bass. Now in my post I said that Bass was alive in the "False Future" and that in the "True Future" Mega Man stayed Mega Man,thus R-Shadow was never created in the first place, but that was before I realized that R-Shadow could've revived himself directly after the events of the Classic Series.

But,if Rockman Shadows re-awakening takes place past that time, then most of the "False Future" isn't so false. R-Shadow does destroy the world, but what of X and Zero? They were sealed up in capsules, hidden away, and protected from Rockman Shadow's rage.

And to add more to this theory,Dr.Cain finds X in a destroyed lab belonging to Dr.Light. Keyword: Destroyed! By Rockman Shadow many years (or decades, depending on your perspective) ago! X and his capsule remained intact while the lab was in ruin.

Rockman Shadow was clearly unaware of X and Zero's existence and only knew of Mega Man and Bass, thus believing them to be the strongest robots. So he goes back in time to challenge them.

And here's something else that I forgot about, more evidence comes from Rockman Shadow himself when he claims that in his time, there are no robots left in the world and that he was the only one. This seems to be the case,as there are ZERO mention of robots in the X Series prior to X's discovery. Meaning that Robots were decommisioned sometime prior to R-Shadow's re-awakening. Why? I really wish I knew, though it may have something to do with those "Robot Experation" Laws.

Ya gotta admit this theory holds water. Some of the enemies in the game look like a cross between Classic Series Mechanoids and X Series Mechaniloids. Plus, there's also the Batton Bone enemies, which appear in the game.

So here is how this event will play out.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Future (The Real Future?)

After a final 10 year struggle,Dr.Wily Finally surrenders and is jailed. With peace restored,Mega Man is converted back into Rock again.

Dr.Wily from the Present comes to the future and quickly finds out that his future self has surrendered and that Mega Man had been converted back into Rock,Wily gets a nasty idea. He heads to his Future self's Lab to create a futuristic Robot that can help him Kill Mega Man. He creates a Mega Man clone to help him,but abandons him after a programming error.

So,instead of fixing up the Mega Man clone,Dr.Wily just finds and reprograms the Mega Man of that time period. Dr.Wily captures Future Rock and turns him into Quint,to prevent a time paradox. After Dr.Wily fixes the Time Skimmer, both he and Quint return to the Present, where the events of Mega Man II GB will take place.

Quint returns to the Future and Future!Dr.Light turns him back into Mega Man. Dr.Wily escapes prison to continue his wonderfully wicked work. Mega Man continues to fight for everlasting peace.

Protoman helps his brother when needed. Bass continues his ways, though he still opposes Wily from time to time. Bass' mission to destroy Mega Man and become the strongest Robot continues.

Now,a month after Dr.Light's death, the abandoned Android comes to life and is angry and self loathing. He rebuilds himself into a Super Fighting Robot known as Rockman Shadow. He then recruits 7 Prototype Robot Masters that Future Dr.Wily had created, but never used.

Looking for a battle challenge,Rockman Shadow seeks out Mega Man. He fails to find him,so he seeks out Bass instead. Again,he fails to find them.

He then hears that both Mega Man and Bass have died. Pissed off about the lack of strong opponents,Rockman Shadow takes his anger out on the Planet, completely unaware of X and Zero's existence. R-Shadow decimates the World with the aid of his Robot Masters, now known as The Dimensions.

Soon after the near-destruction of Earth,Rockman Shadow decides to go back in time to fight Mega Man and Bass, who were the worlds strongest at the time. After stealing an experimental time portal creator from the Chronos Institute,Rockman Shadow and his Minions head into the Past (our present). This leads into the events of Rockman and Forte: Challanger from the Future.

Rockman Shadow never returns home. A few years later, the survivors begin rebuilding the world.

These events are a combination of the "False Future" and the "True Future". However,it should be noted, that the events of Rockman and Forte: Challenger from the Future and Rockman Shadow himself, may or may not exist within the Main Timeline.

I dunno about you,but I think Rockman Shadow's era taking place between the Classic and X series has merit. It just kinda makes sense.

Before,I wrap things up,a lot of you are wondering why I don't call Rockman Shadow,Mega Man Shadow? After all, here in the west all Rockmen are known as Mega Men.

Well,it's because he's from a Japanese-Only game on a Japanese-Only System.

Well, any other questions reguarding this topic? No? Then,I'll be going.

Until Next Time,
Stay Gold,Space Cowboy

Captain N Reboot #2! Captain N: Game Enforcer Take 2!

Last night I had another idea for a Captain N Reboot, however unlike the last one, this one will be Nintendo exclusive,so No 3rd Party Characters. I'll be replacing all 3rd Party Characters that appeared in both the original Captain N and my 1st Reboot.

For example: Simon Belmont is replaced with Samus Aran,The Count will be replaced with Medusa, and Mega Man and Dr.Wily will be replaced with 2 OC's,a Heroic Laser Gunner and a Mad Scientist.

R.O.B. and Mike Jones will be part of the initial N-Team as well. Zoda will be a member of Mother Brain's League of Darkness. Kirby joins later. Mario,Donkey Kong,Little Mac,and Link will become allies to the N-Team later. As the series goes on,More Nintendo franchses will be covered.

The story will go like this: In the Nintendoverse,The war between good and evil has reached a standstill. However, that all changed when the New Mother Brain(the original was destroyed by samus) formed a The League of Drarkness, comprised of various villians from other worlds. She recruits The Dark Goddess Medusa; Medusa's bumbling main minion,Eggy the Eggplant Wizard; King Hippo, the nasty, yet dumb, mutant Boxer; Zoda, the space demon; Ridley,Mother Brain's ruthless general; And The evil scientist,Dr.Willy, who's from a (made up) Unreleased 1987 Nintendo Light Zapper game.

To counter Mother Brain,Princess Lana Yamauchi, the ruler of the Nintendoverse, gathers a team of available VideoHeroes. Her recruits are: Famed Bounty Hunter,Samus Aran (as a part-time member); Angel Hero,Pit; R.O.B.,the Robot; Mike Jones, teenage hero of C-Island; and Kid Zapper, who's from the same (made up) unrealesed game as Dr.Willy.

But that wasn't enough: For 7 Months, the League of Darkness and the N-Team battled for the fate of the Galaxy. Unfortunatly, the League had a slight advantage, thanks to Mother Brain's awesome abilities. In order to turn the tide, the N-Team is gonna need an Enforcer. Princess Lana recalls a prophisy that a great warrior from another Universe will come and be their Game Enforcer. Palutena offers to lend a hand.

Meanwhile,on 1990 Earth,Kevin Keene, avid Nintendo Gamer and Adventure Lover,is chosen by Palutena and brought to the Nintendoverse via Ultimate Warp Zone. When he gets there,Kevin is shocked and in disbelief. He later accepts his destiny, however,as Captain N: Gane Enforcer.

Now to list some of the Similarities and Differences between This Continuity and the previous 2.

Some Similarities between this Reboot and the Original Series Include:
- 3 Core members of the N-Team (Kevin,Lana and,Pit)
- With the exception of Dr.Wily,All core members of Mother Brain's Legion of Darkness.
- Most Nintendo worlds that were featured in CN:TGM.
- Eggplant Wizard and King Hippo are Mother Brain's 2 bumbling minions.
- Medusa resembles a not-so attractive middle-aged woman (for a while,at least)
- Princess Lana rules the Universe.
- For the most part,Kevin and Lana look as they did in the show.
- Link is still Kevin's favorite Video Game Hero.
- Kevin is from Northrige High,in Northridge California.
- Mother Brain has her temper.
- The Ultimate Warp Zone
- Kevin's dog,Duke, follows him through the Ultimate Warp.

- Mother Brain's Huge Base,Metroid.
- The Palace of Power, which still serves as the N-Team's base.

Some Differences between this Reboot and the Original Series Include:
- Takes place in 1990 instead of 1989.
- Mother Brain being much much more of a threat.
- Samus Aran appears as a part-time member in this continuity,in the 80's show she didn't appear at all.
- Medusa is a main character and gets a mid-season upgrade. Said upgrade resembles her more modern form.
- King Hippo is the same color he was in the games.
- No 3rd Party Characters and Worlds.

- Pit is called Pit Icarus here And he speaks normaly. No "-Icus" here people.
- Mother Brain's Huge Base,Metroid,is shaped like a Giant Flying Metroid.
- Lana's Brother Lyle is a bit different from his 80's counterpart. Here,Lyle is a pacifist who Loves sports and puzzles. He ran away to some sports world when the War began. Lyle isn't as awkward or clumsy in this Universe.
- Worlds and Characters are much more game accurate. Even Kongoland, which is based on the 1st 2 stages in Donkey Kong Jr.
- The War began 7 Years Ago in the 80's series. In this continuity,it's 7 Months.
- Lana's mother is mentioned. She isn't in the 80's series.

- Kevin doesn't get any upgrades.
- No Mike Jones,Zoda,or R.O.B.
- Kongo Land is bigger and called the Kong Kontinent

- The King is dead before the series starts,he's not trapped in a Mirror or anything,
- No Gameboy.
- Mike Jones and R.O.B are part of the N-Team in 2nd reboot, where in the 1st,they weren't even seen or mentioned.
- Kongo Land is bigger and called the Kong Kontinent
